About The Position

The Small Business Card ART is part of the Credit Platform, supporting Credit Origination, Adjudication, Credit Bureau, and Credit Decisioning primarily for Credit Cards and related Small Business Credit products. This role involves confirming system requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to analyze and document needs, resolving user issues, developing and recommending technology solutions, and ensuring requirements traceability through the development lifecycle. The position also supports testing, quality management, and promotes innovation. The role requires adherence to TD's code of conduct and continuous enhancement of knowledge in own area, business domains, and emerging technology trends.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
3-5 years relevant experience
2-3 in Agile delivery and use of tools such as Jira and Confluence
Previous experience with API - UI integration
Strong verbal and written communication
Commitment to applying knowledge of business technology delivery practices and standards, including design, development, testing and project management
Sound knowledge of system analysis process and techniques as well as system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows and business rules
Ability to perform work on all aspects of the system analyst process from end-to-end (on projects of moderate to high complexity), under minimal supervision
Ability to exercise sound judgment when evaluating information and making decisions in ambiguous situations
Expertise in MS Office suite products
Willingness to learn and ability to adapt quickly

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with TD lending systems is a plus

Responsibilities

Confirm system requirements in alignment with standards and frameworks.
Work in close partnership with various partners and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage functional and non-functional requirements.
Work with system users to determine issues and solution as workaround and navigating through the production environment.
Develop effective and efficient solutions by researching/analyzing current state system processes and defining technology solutions options / recommendations working closely with key technology partners.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine solutions, assess impact to existing work processes and systems, and how to manage the integration.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications taking into account non-functional requirements.
Capture and document the traceability of system requirements through design and development, testing, and deployment; ensure the acceptance criteria demonstrate the changes to systems that will meet stakeholder expectations.
Support testing in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing.
Participate in quality management reviews, including designs, prototypes and other requirements work products.
Provides support/oversight and guidance in the delivery of technology requirements with focus on quality, reusability, scalability, and innovation.
Promote innovation by applying subject matter expertise to generate forward-thinking ideas as well as critical thinking to find opportunities for improvement.
May provide operational / process-related analysis and support.
Adhere to existing processes/standards including requirements management technology delivery practices and standards, and business technology architecture, escalating issues as required.
Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with leading-edge technology trends/developments and develop expertise in TD services, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools and techniques that can contribute to effective solution development/delivery.
Continuously enhance knowledge of business domains and their products/services.
May support change management planning and activities, including those that ensure operational readiness.
Support implementation and post-implementation planning and activities.
May support the development of business cases including benefits identification, RFI/RFP and service level agreements with vendors/suppliers consistent with technology requirements/guidelines.
