About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Basic knowledge of reviewing functional requirements and identifying clear, testable acceptance criteria to support quality outcomes.
  • Experience creating and executing test cases, including manual testing and exposure to automated testing tools, to help ensure reliable system performance.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in executing the testing/quality assurance needs of the enterprise business suite.
  • Document testing outcomes.
  • Assists with the development of business process designs and user guides.
  • Addresses production support, application configuration and enhancements with direction from senior level team members as needed.
  • Assists with testing new functionality, system enhancements, patches, and application upgrades to ensure business requirements are met and systems function as expected.
  • Documents testing outcomes and supports issue identification, troubleshooting, and resolution activities during testing cycles.
  • Participates in quality assurance activities related to application releases, upgrades, and ongoing system maintenance.
  • Works with senior team members on understanding validation processes.
  • Participate in creating and maintaining documentation in support of enterprise business applications.
  • Participates in testing efforts related to system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and new functionality deployments.
  • Supports validation efforts and regression testing to minimize the impact of system changes on existing business processes.
  • Provide support and resolution assistance for production and process issues.
  • Seeks guidance to troubleshoot and decipher error messages.
  • Assists with the appropriate Change Control methods to implement system solutions.
  • Support departmental efforts to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop a familiarity of existing business processes to avoid potential issues as well as gathering information for future process improvement opportunities.
  • Exercise good judgement and follow appropriate escalation procedure in accordance with information technology service level agreements.
  • Provides end-user support.
  • Monitor SLA's and escalates as needed.
  • Adhere to and promote continual adoption of change management policies and procedures.
  • Model outstanding customer service behavior, including timely and effective follow-up with customers.
  • Develop knowledge and professional skills through cross-training, literature and attendance at department meetings and vendor education.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships.

  • Participate in instructional seminars.
