About The Position

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Business System Analyst in the Nashville, Tennessee area to support IT healthcare projects and large-scale modernization initiatives. The role serves as a liaison between business units, client stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure strategic alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.

Requirements

• Proven work as a Business System Analyst supporting IT healthcare projects.
• Maintain knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PMP, or AAC.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder interviews and discovery meetings to gather and define business requirements.
• Validate needs and set reporting requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, working with technical team leads and subject-matter experts to align technology with business objectives.
• Develop business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional requirements documents (FRDs) for use throughout the project.
• Develop system and process workflows in Visio and ensure they are accessible to project and client teams in SharePoint.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and test development, collaborating with development and QA teams to create test plans and a test matrix.
• Create project progress reports and provide clients with regular, detailed delivery updates.
