About The Position

Weimer Bearing is hiring an entry-level Business System Analyst with opportunities for growth. The company supplies critical components to manufacturing and maintenance companies and produces and distributes electro/mechanical systems. The analyst will work with stakeholders across business units on reporting and analytics, support the company’s ERP system, contribute to software development, document development work and issues, and collaborate with business systems and IT helpdesk colleagues.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of relevant IT or software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience.
• Knowledge of SQL and software languages such as PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working in a team environment on software projects.
• Ability to communicate clearly by telephone and email and strong listening skills to understand issues and needs.
• Strong organizational skills related to logging issues and needs.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of C# or Java.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders across business units to scope and build reports and analytics solutions.
• Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting the ERP system and creating new features for it.
• Contribute to full-stack software development across a range of applications.
• Maintain documentation of development progress, incoming issues, tickets, and features.
• Collaborate with business systems and IT helpdesk team members to solve complex issues.
• Communicate with business stakeholders to gather feedback, understand current processes, and generate projects for the business systems team.
