About The Position

The 2027 SF Fed Summer Internship Program at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is designed for college and graduate students to experience work-life in a vibrant, dynamic, and collaborative environment. The program aims to foster professional and personal growth, with interns working closely with managers and team members to contribute to the Bank's mission of public service. Interns will engage in enriching experiences, contributing to solutions and identifying opportunities critical to their team's and the Bank's success. The Business Support Intern role focuses on enhancing the support and productivity of the Bank's core business functions through projects utilizing creativity and communication. Interns will gain experience and exposure to various business-related activities to build foundational knowledge. Teams hosting Business Support Interns include Digital Management - Audio/Visual Solutions, External Communications, People + Culture (HR), and Workplace Experience.

Requirements

Full-time undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited community college, four-year college, or university.
Expected graduation date between December 2027 – June 2029.
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency.
Keen interest in public service, and the overall mission-driven work of the SF Fed.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Ability to work 40 hours per week for the full duration of the 10.5-week internship.
Ability to work 5 days per week in-office.
