About The Position

The 2027 SF Fed Summer Internship Program at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is designed for college and graduate students to experience work-life in a vibrant, dynamic, and collaborative environment. The program aims to foster professional and personal growth, with interns working closely with managers and team members on projects that contribute to the Bank's mission of public service. Business Analyst interns will utilize skills such as research, writing, data analysis, policy comprehension, and communication to work on business projects, solutions, and deliverables within their assigned group. They will gain experience and exposure to a variety of business-related challenges, building foundational knowledge for their future careers. Teams hosting Business Analyst Interns include Banking Supervision, Statistics + Reserves, Federal Reserve Financial Services, Financial Management, Operations & Safety, and Regional Engagement.

Requirements

Full-time undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited community college, four-year college, or university with an expected graduation date between December 2027 – June 2029
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency
Keen interest in public service, and the overall mission-driven work of the SF Fed
Demonstrated leadership ability
Ability to work 40 hours per week for the full duration of the 10.5-week internship
Ability to work 5 days per week in-office
