Michelin has an immediate opening for a Business Support Controller who assists the Business Partner Controller in financial activities for the manufacturing operations. The Business Support Controller is responsible for costing, month-end reporting and analysis, and monitoring policies and procedures. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
1–2 years of experience as a cost analyst, financial analyst, accountant, or similar role.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated teamwork and efficiency with multitasking, prioritization, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Previous costing experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Support month-end close activities, including inventory accruals, variance capitalization, standard accrual entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintain and update standard costs, including new part costing, monthly cost updates, variance reconciliations, forecasts, and annual standard cost setting.
Partner with plant engineering to review and update routings and bills of materials as needed.
Forecast raw material purchase price costs and analyze purchase price variances, freight, tariffs, and utilities.
Prepare recurring reports, including weekly sales and open orders, annual census reporting, quarterly utilization and capacity surveys, and other financial analyses as assigned.
Support external audits and internal control reviews by gathering information, completing analysis, and helping ensure compliance with company procedures.
