Business Support Analyst
About The Position
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Business Support Analyst on a temporary basis (up to 12 months) on their Consumer Products team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Edmonton, Alberta. The role is for individuals who enjoy analyzing information, improving processes, and helping people succeed. The Business Support Analyst will play a key part in shaping strategy, supporting clients, and creating efficiencies. FCL helps feed Western Canada by providing fresh groceries and wholesale solutions to independent retail stores, restaurants and other food establishments in communities large and small.
Requirements
- Have 6-9 years' experience in a business support role assessing data and developing business insights.
- Have a College or Technical Diploma (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a sales environment would be an asset.
Responsibilities
- Screen and evaluate incoming opportunities by conducting preliminary reviews, gathering key information, and identifying gaps or potential solutions for stakeholder growth.
- Develop and enhance reporting to track sales, margins, and program performance on weekly, monthly, annual, and ad‑hoc schedules.
- Monitor participation in B2B programs and collaborates with the Supervisor on recommendations to improve engagement or program design.
- Support data compilation and analysis for promotions, budgeting, and variance research.
- Handle complex client inquiries, assists with order processing, and coordinates smooth onboarding/offboarding for B2B programs.
