Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. Customer Support & Investigation Services (CS&IS) is part of Military Material and Analytics Organization. CS&IS facilitates the investigation processes for engines, controls, parts, or support equipment that failed in the field or are involved in an aircraft mishap or safety incident. It also performs engine hardware repair support and administers contract warranty provisions, defective product recalls, approved Special Support Request (SSR's) and contract guarantee provisions. The business unit supports the F100, F117, F119, F135, Tanker, APU, J52 and the TF33 engine. The Business Support Analyst will be the focal point to manage all functions related to inventory, reporting, etc. to support internal and external customer requirements.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience to include Query writing for Oracle Data Bases and Business Warehouse.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US Citizenship.

Nice To Haves

  • Well versed in Microsoft Access and Excel with Oracle Data Mart (ODM), Business Warehouse (BW) query writing and financial data in SAP.
  • Previous experience in business/finance is desired.
  • Candidate must be independent yet team oriented, self-starter, have the ability to work with minimum supervision, possesses a strong customer focus and is adaptable to a fast paced, dynamic and evolving program.
  • Some travel may be required, but less than 10%.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage warranty claim data and financial reports.
  • Create and publish business warehouse queries and reports.
  • Conduct warranty claim financial audits.
  • Manage warranty inventory including forecasting, monitor customer requirements, physical inventory and execute stock transfers.
  • Support warranty and repair analysts as required
  • Participate and lead continuous improvement activities
  • Other tasks may include drive access control.
