About The Position

The Business Solutions and Support Services Director provides leadership and management for a team that performs budgeting, accounting, and finance activities across all fund types for a variety of campus customers, including customers at the Vice Chancellor level. The Director provides business solutions and support for on-going operations, ERP (Workday) activities, policy and process updates/changes, audit coordination and response, staff development, and other duties as assigned. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job function of this job, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education
  • At least five years relevant business or related work experience
  • At least two years supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated expert level Excel experience
  • Demonstrated expert level data analysis experience
  • Experience with performing core business processes (budgeting, financial analysis, management reporting, travel, accounts payable, etc.)
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution of higher education
  • Master's degree in business or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education
  • At least seven years accounting or finance or related business work experience
  • At least five years supervisory experience
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data analysis tools
  • Public accounting experience
  • CPA or similar professional certification
  • Workday or other major ERP experience
  • Experience working in higher education
  • Experience implementing shared service operating models and business process optimization

Responsibilities
