About The Position

We are seeking a strategic Business Relationship Manager (BRM) with a strong foundation in IT consulting or product strategy to drive technology modernization initiatives. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leadership, aligning organizational goals with scalable, secure technology solutions. You’ll play a key role in shaping technology direction, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing user and customer experiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, including roles such as Business Relationship Manager, Product Manager, or IT Consultant
  • Strong understanding of technology strategy and high-level solution architecture
  • Proven ability to work with both business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving organizational alignment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in public sector or highly regulated industries (e.g., finance, insurance, healthcare)
  • BRMP certification or similar
  • Background in enterprise systems, compliance-driven environments, or digital transformation initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand operational processes and strategic goals
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve outcomes through technology
  • Provide strategic recommendations to guide digital transformation initiatives
  • Define and influence long-term technology roadmaps
  • Ensure IT initiatives align with broader organizational objectives
  • Guide prioritization of enhancements, system upgrades, and new solutions
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams
  • Facilitate alignment across departments and drive consensus on priorities
  • Lead discussions to identify process improvements and innovation opportunities
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language
  • Define success metrics and communicate the value of technology investments
  • Support leadership in making informed, data-driven decisions
  • Convert business needs into high-level technical requirements (e.g., epics, solution concepts)
  • Evaluate proposed solutions to ensure scalability, security, and alignment with requirements
  • Provide guidance on resolving complex system or legacy challenges
  • Collaborate with data teams to leverage insights for strategic decision-making
  • Build business cases to support new technology initiatives
