About The Position

Empire Life is looking to hire a Business Quality Analyst III to join our Information Technology team! The total target compensation (TTC) range, including salary and target bonus, is $95,920 - $144,970. This TTC range is applicable to permanent roles only; fixed-term contract and casual roles are not eligible for annual bonus and would receive only the base salary component. Requirements

  • Post secondary degree or diploma and/or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5+ years experience in Business Analyst role
  • 2+ years experience working in Scrum based teams and creation of User Stories
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks or project
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member as required
  • Flexibility to adapt in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Ability to build relationships across the organization
  • Effectively communicate across the organization
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at senior levels
  • Ability and willingness to mentor, coach and train junior members

Responsibilities

  • Communications with business leadership to ensure proper capture of Business Requirements
  • Ensuring solutions delivered meet stakeholder objectives with manual validation techniques
  • Use Empire’s Product Delivery Framework, our internal best practices in the delivery of solutions
  • Provide gap analysis and make recommendations to stakeholders on potential solutions to address business
  • Coaching new members of the team on the Product Delivery Framework
  • Lead Scrum Ceremonies and the delivery of smaller initiatives, as required
