The Department of Vermont Health Access is seeking a Business Project Manager to support policy initiatives related to Vermont's health insurance landscape. This role will be the point person for projects and strategic policy initiatives concerning the health insurance marketplace, including tracking policy changes that impact Vermont Health Connect. Projects may cover health insurance benefits, qualified health plans, employer-sponsored coverage, health reimbursement arrangements, tax credits, financial assistance programs, affordability initiatives, and alternative individual health coverage options. The position will be central to a statewide affordability assessment funded by Rural Health Transformation (RHT) funding, connecting various stakeholders to ensure alignment. Job duties include research, policy analysis, project management, coordination of workgroups, presentation development, and report drafting. A successful candidate will be passionate about the health insurance marketplace and DVHA's role, possess excellent research and communication skills, and demonstrate an ability to coordinate with internal and external partners. Knowledge of health insurance regulation or health care policy is preferred.
