About The Position

As a Data Center Operations Business Program Manager (BPM), you are responsible for supporting GDC facilities operations. Core responsibilities include: supply chain management, financial support at a site level, strategic negotiations with partners, non-critical infrastructure project management, and co-driving strategic initiatives with different stakeholders. Additionally, BPMs oversee data center business operations, including budget, RFPs, procurement, supplier contracts, and facilities services. They also manage non-critical building maintenance and repairs and troubleshoot vendor-related matters. BPMs also ensure the best value of services to lead Google Data Centers to be an operation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in program or project management.

Nice To Haves

2 years of experience in in contract administration, including drafting, reviewing, and managing Statements of Work (SOWs) and Facility Services Agreements (FSAs).
2 years of experience in vendor management and contract lifecycle management and contract management systems and legal processes.
2 years of experience with financial forecasting, accrual reporting, variance analysis, and purchasing/invoicing processes.
Understanding of facility management, data center operations, maintenance practices, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.
Strong skills in budgeting for both Operating Expenses (OpEx) and Capital Expenses (CapEx).

Responsibilities

Be responsible for financial reporting, CapEx (Capital Expenditures) and OpEx (Operational Expenditures) budget planning within Data Center Operations (DCOps).
Ensure financial compliance, working with the Facilities Management team to achieve goals.
Act as the point of contact for projects as assigned by the Facility Manager.
Prepare statements of work (SOW) for facilities vendor agreements.
Work with facilities vendors to resolve conflicts and issues under the direction of the Facility Manager. Obtain facilities-related vendor proposals, prepare purchase orders, and review/approve invoices.
