About The Position

The Business Program Management Intern will support Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) Executive Office, working across Strategy & Planning, Delivery & Execution, and DC Operations. The role serves as an operational integrator, connecting leaders, teams, priorities, and operating mechanisms so the organization functions as one system. It helps close functional gaps, improve handoffs, and connect decisions to execution. The intern will help build and sustain the organization’s operating model through Rhythm of Business (ROB), governance, performance reporting, budgeting, workforce planning, executive communications, and business data management. The role applies systems thinking to anticipate downstream impacts, resolve friction across organizational boundaries, and design scalable mechanisms that improve end-to-end performance. It requires a high bar for first-pass quality so analyses, reports, communications, and decision materials are accurate, complete, and leadership-ready. Microsoft interns work on real-world projects with teams across the world and are encouraged to build community, explore their passions, and achieve their goals.
