About The Position

Dow Jones Internship Program is a 10-week summer experience designed to give students real exposure to how . Our interns work on meaningful projects alongside our teams, gaining hands-on skills that make an impact on the business. Requirements

  • Completed at least two years towards a major or minor in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at one time
  • Excellent writing skills and demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Responsibilities

  • Understand the value propositions for Dow Jones’ consumer investing products and the consumers who use them.
  • Work cross-functionally across product strategy, audience and commerce and contribute to strategic projects that drive the business.
  • Help to develop an internal newsletter/spotlight/educational tool(frequency tbd) that gives non-W&I teams an overview of key content that has resonated with our audiences, product updates, and otherwise.
  • Contribute to key strategic initiative development including writing briefs to define project objectives and user needs, working to get input and information from stakeholder teams to provide a robust narrative on the potential impact the project can make.
  • Hone project management skills by scheduling kick off meetings, follow ups and tracking milestones.
  • Sharpen creative thinking through market research and competitive analysis to develop a set of new projects that our business should consider to drive user engagement with our brands.
  • Gain knowledge of the financial news space as well as stock market research and investing.
