About The Position

The Strategy & Data Intern will be embedded within the Commercial Strategy Team, supporting initiatives that improve global data visibility, enhance reporting frameworks, and enable structured growth planning. Dow Jones Energy is strengthening its global commercial strategy capabilities, consolidating commercial data, improving process scalability, and leveraging AI to enable smarter decision-making. This role sits at the center of those efforts. This is a hands-on analytical role focused on turning complex commercial data into actionable insight and scalable processes, not an observational one. You will contribute to real initiatives that influence how Dow Jones Energy allocates resources, prioritizes markets, and makes strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Completed at least 2 years of undergraduate studies.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable working with large, complex datasets and drawing structured conclusions
• Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python is a plus
• Structured thinker with sharp attention to detail, you build logical, well-organized outputs from ambiguous inputs
• Genuinely curious about AI and how automation can improve business processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, executive-ready narratives
• Interest in energy markets, B2B commercial strategy, or financial services
• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program
• Graduating in Dec 2027 – July 2029 (U.S.)
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.

Nice To Haves
