About The Position

The Business Process Program Manager – Digital leads enterprise‑critical digital initiatives at Medtronic’s Nathan Lane Manufacturing site in Plymouth, MN. This role involves leading the pilot and deployment of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), requiring close partnership with Medtronic’s Operations Innovation team and collaboration across Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Quality, and IT. The goal is to deliver a scalable, integrated solution that connects shop‑floor execution with enterprise systems like SAP. This position demands a leader capable of bridging manufacturing, digital technology, and people to drive adoption, ensure regulatory compliance, and achieve sustainable business impact. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading MES deployments with a strong program or project management foundation in manufacturing and digital transformation
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes within regulated environments
  • Proven execution mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to bridge technical and operational teams
  • Ability to influence, align, and communicate effectively across all organizational levels
  • Hands‑on experience with Critical Manufacturing MES or similar enterprise platforms
  • MES–ERP integration experience (SAP strongly preferred)
  • PMP, Agile, or SAFe certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end MES deployment in a highly regulated, high‑volume manufacturing environment
  • Partner with Operations Innovation, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and IT to deliver scalable digital solutions
  • Integrate MES shop‑floor execution with SAP, Quality systems, and other digital tools
  • Drive cross‑functional execution, managing scope, timelines, and dependencies
  • Lead change management, including stakeholder alignment, training, and adoption
  • Enable a scalable digital manufacturing foundation for analytics and AI
  • Plan and lead other Operations or Quality System changes or updates within specified timelines and budget requirements
