About The Position

As a Business Process Analyst, you will serve as a strategic liaison between Westinghouse Digital Design and process owners within other disciplines, providing thought leadership on business process design, system utilization, and digital transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for maximizing the value of the enterprise design management applications, by ensuring processes are defined and vision is understood. You will be responsible for ensuring solutions are aligned with operational objectives, scalable business processes, and long-term organizational strategy. You will report to the Manager, APX Software Development. This is a hybrid role based out of our Cranberry TWP, PA headquarters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Operations Management, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business process/systems analysis, operations improvement or related discipline
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain or service delivery environments

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders across the APX organization to define future-state business processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions.
  • Play a critical role in shaping system roadmaps, prioritizing enhancements, and promoting adoption of standard, efficient, and data-driven business practices throughout the organization.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews.
  • Create process flow diagrams, working closely with teams to define their current and future-state processes.
  • Recommend improvements to evolve business processes.
  • Translate business needs into business rules, process documentation, and functional requirements.
  • Document workflows, standard operating procedures, process maps, and work instructions.
  • Facilitate requirements review sessions and obtain stakeholder alignment.
  • Ensure requirements are complete, testable, and understood by technical teams.
  • Support testing and validation activities to ensure system functionality.
  • Identify causes of process inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop training materials and facilitate end-user training sessions on business processes.
  • Serve as a champion for continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
