About The Position

The Business Planning Manager (BPM) for Poly is responsible for leading end-to-end planning activities across the Poly portfolio, connecting demand, supply, and execution to deliver optimal business outcomes. The role operates at a highly strategic and analytical level, driving complex planning decisions, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring alignment between supply chain capabilities and business priorities. This position plays a critical role in improving conversion, customer experience, inventory health, and financial performance, while enabling scalable and data-driven planning processes for Poly within the broader Personal Systems organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, or operations
  • Strong experience in demand/supply planning and business planning roles
  • Experience working in complex, global, and cross-functional environments
  • Advanced expertise in supply chain planning and execution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven decision making
  • Ability to operate independently in complex and ambiguous environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into actionable planning strategies
  • Continuous improvement mindset with focus on efficiency and simplification

Responsibilities

  • Stabilize and optimize end-to-end planning for Poly
  • Ensure strong demand/supply matching and execution alignment across regions
  • Improve planning accuracy, responsiveness, and issue resolution
  • Improve business performance across key metrics: Conversion and backlog reduction, Customer experience (ship dates, OTIF, lead time reliability), Inventory health, including reduction of excess and aged inventory
  • Strengthen demand shaping and supply optimization levers
  • Drive prioritization across products, channels, and customers
  • Optimize allocation decisions in constrained environments
  • Improve coordination with Customer Operations and Category teams
  • Enhance data visibility and performance management: Develop and leverage KPIs to track execution gaps and business outcomes, Improve reporting consistency and transparency for Poly performance
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in planning processes: Identify and implement process improvements across planning flows, Leverage automation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven insights
  • Ensure alignment with global planning standards and transformation initiatives
  • Strengthen cross-functional alignment: Act as a key interface between supply chain, category, finance, and operations, Ensure alignment on priorities, risks, and trade-offs
