About The Position

The Business Performance Analyst extracts, manipulates, and joins data from multiple sources to create population sets for comparative analysis. The role develops and maintains analytical models that assess the financial, clinical, and consumer value of business initiatives. The analyst participates in dashboard development, including defining and validating data, retrieving it from systems, maintaining technical documentation, and creating dashboards. The position also produces ad hoc and recurring reports and presentations that provide data-based insights, presents findings to work groups using data visualization tools, and builds relationships with partners and customers to support effective solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree in one of these fields is preferred.
With a bachelor's degree, 2 years of related analytical experience in healthcare, consulting, finance, analytics, or a closely related field.
With a master's degree, 0 years of related analytical experience in healthcare, consulting, finance, analytics, or a closely related field.
Working knowledge of data visualization tools and experience creating data visualizations.
Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, or equivalent visualization software.
Ability to use SQL or non-SQL tools to query and join tables and create tables.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with analytics teams, business leaders, and executives.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage relationships with partners and customers to assure effective solutions.
