Business Operations

Pace•New York City, NY

About The Position

Company Pace helps leading insurers run complex operations through AI agents and expert human review. Financial institutions spend nearly $400 billion annually on outsourced work. We’re building technology to transform those operations alongside some of the largest insurers in the world. Role We’re looking for a Business Operations generalist to help build the systems and processes behind Pace’s next stage of growth. You might build a financial model to inform an investment decision, improve how we hire and onboard, or take a new business initiative from an open question to execution. Your scope will evolve with the company. We’re looking for someone who can identify what matters, bring structure to unfamiliar problems, and take responsibility for getting the work done.

  • Support company planning: Track business performance, prepare leadership and investor materials, and help translate company priorities into plans teams can execute.
  • Help grow the team: Partner with hiring managers on recruiting processes, candidate experience, and onboarding.
  • Improve internal operations: Manage vendors, tools, and administrative workflows, coordinating with legal and other external partners where needed.
  • Build with AI: Automate repetitive work and turn useful experiments into reliable tools and processes.
