About The Position

Neon is seeking a Business Operations professional to work directly with the CEO to multiply sales, marketing, and recruiting efforts. The company's mission is to make life-saving drugs accessible by automating patient access workflows for pharma companies, thereby eliminating cost barriers, navigating the insurance maze, and solving logistical challenges. Neon aims to build an AI automation powerhouse serving healthcare's biggest enterprises, with the goal of creating a world where every patient can access necessary treatments without financial ruin. Requirements

  • Owning projects end-to-end: You will be tasked with taking high-level objectives, and getting it done.
  • Phenomenal written communication ability.
  • Market research & analysis.
  • Spreadsheets: Financial modeling; Advanced spreadsheet functions; Data cleaning & enrichment; Data analysis.
  • Design & construction of sales & marketing collateral: Figma, Canva, Photoshop, or similar.
  • Lightweight scripting: Ability to write and debug simple scripts as necessary to automate tasks, scrape data, etc. (This boils down to ability to use LLMs effectively.)
  • Experience in healthcare / pharma knowledge.
  • Consulted for healthcare organizations, worked at a healthtech company, or worked at a pharma company.
  • Understanding of the basic players in healthcare and their incentives: payers, providers, PBMs, pharma, etc.
  • Understanding of critical commercial concepts and functions in healthcare: e.g.) primary/secondary insurance and coordination of benefits, value-based / capitated models, revenue cycle management.
  • Some combination of these work experiences: Management consulting, Startup business operations, Early-stage startup.
  • Organized & process-oriented.
  • Urgency and hustle.
  • High agency, proactive & self-directed.
  • Cross-functional comfort: Must be comfortable wearing many hats.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the CEO on the company’s top priorities.
  • Create a one-pager for a new prospective customer.
  • Recruit and manage a contract content marketer to generate 3x thought leadership pieces per week.
  • Engage a marketing firm to set up ad retargeting on our website.
  • Warm up email domains for cold outreach, including learning how to set up DMARC and DKIM DNS records and testing email deliverability.
  • Stand up net new functions, e.g.) sourcing, onboarding, and managing a 3rd party marketing agency to run our ads.
  • Source candidates, filter inbound candidates, conduct screening calls, and coordinate interviews with other teammates to shepherd candidates through the interview process.
  • Research lists of pharma companies and other companies that are relevant.
  • Find relevant people at those companies (past or current) who are relevant.
  • Scrape & structure data.
  • Craft messaging for outreach that is personalized and relevant.
  • Set up outbound sales & marketing campaigns.
  • Create collateral: slide decks, one-pagers, ad copy and graphics.
  • Prepare for external conference attendance.
  • Buy plane tickets.
  • Organize & plan industry events.
