We are looking for a Business Operations Specialist, Senior, who will be providing support for BSO-11 (Budget Submitting Office) Business Offices.

Requirements

Active DoD Secret Clearance, required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent degree.
Associate's degree with eight (8) years of experience.
7-10 years of accounting, audit, and/or Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) experience
Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) experience
Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills to include performing financial analysis.
Self-Driven and efficient
Detailed Oriented
Analytical Skills
Good Communication Skills
Works well on team projects

Responsibilities

Examine/develop processes to support the accounting department to include new processes of Navy ERP.
Participate in working groups related to G-Invoicing, Budget Execution Valuation (BEV), FERMC (UMT, AP AR, IGTs, and Tie-Points).
Update and maintain standard operating procedures and policies.
Perform data analysis related to funding, month end close, year-end close.
Perform compilation and review of field level journal vouchers.
Review and reconcile monthly treasury reports when compared to the general ledger.
Understand the behavior and functionality of various general ledger accounts.
Review and analyze trial balances for pre-close and post-close analysis.
Review and research unmatched transactions.
Support other accounting duties as needed.
