About The Position

The Business Operations Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Pulmonary Clinic, overseeing front- and back-office duties and making key business decisions. The manager proposes and manages budgets to support the practice’s financial sustainability while maintaining excellent customer service. The role represents the clinic at physician- and senior-leader-level meetings and communicates with medical staff, department heads, clinicians, and other subordinate staff. The manager is responsible for the successful day-to-day operations of the practice. The Pulmonary Clinic focuses on the pulmonary system and care related to breathing and respiration. This position is located in Montrose, Colorado.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of healthcare office management experience, including personnel management.
High level of professionalism and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or Accounting.
Working knowledge of applicable medical terminology.
Medical billing experience.
Proficiency with EMR systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
Experience with Epic, QHN, eClinicalWorks, and MediTech.

Responsibilities
