About The Position

The Business Operations Manager oversees utility billing, customer service, contract administration, and administrative operations while leading a team of customer service, billing, and administrative professionals. The ideal candidate will be an attentive listener, engaging effectively with their team, colleagues, and customers alike. The Business Operations Manager should be comfortable managing a diverse range of responsibilities while demonstrating strong time management and leadership skills. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Five (5) years of relevant professional experience

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred
Collaborative leader with strong analytical, organizational, and customer service skills.
Experience in utility billing, business operations, financial reporting, and employee supervision is highly desirable.
Public utility experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Managing the utility billing and accounts receivable processes.
Preparing operational and financial metrics, reports and data summary for leadership and the Board of Directors.
Serving as the subject matter expert for ACWWA's Customer Information System (CUZI)
Managing customer communications and public notifications
Overseeing contract administration and office operations
Supervising, coaching, and developing staff
