As a Business Operations Manager, you will serve as a critical partner to engineering leadership, driving the operational excellence that keeps our organization moving forward. Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience in engineering operations or project management within the high-tech industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
  • Documented experience leading quarterly or annual planning processes within an engineering organization.
  • Use of AI tools to analyze data and develop presentations for executive level audiences
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Experience in conducting data analysis related to budgets, headcount, and resource allocation.

  • Significant Engineering Operations experience at Cisco.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive decision-making in ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in managing organizational events, such as staff meetings, all-hands, and offsites.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven tools, such as Codex, and experience with prompt engineering to support operational workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to shift priorities effectively in a high-demand, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead quarterly and annual planning processes, ensuring that our roadmap is supported by accurate budget, headcount, and resource analysis.
  • Orchestrate key organizational meetings and events, providing the structure necessary for our leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Streamline workflows and remove roadblocks to project success by managing cross-functional partnerships with Finance and TPM teams.
