Role Purpose: The Business Operations Manager is a critical operational leader within JLL Real Estate Due Diligence (JREDD), responsible for driving standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement across business processes and financial operations. This role serves as a central hub for cross-functional coordination, performance reporting, and process optimization — ensuring that JREDD's operational execution remains aligned with strategic priorities, financial targets, and client satisfaction goals.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated professional experience leading and influencing operations teams, driving collaboration and delivering shared organizational goals.
  • Commercially and financially astute, with a track record of managing financial reporting, forecasting, and invoicing in a professional services or real estate environment.
  • Experience navigating large, complex organizations and building effective cross-functional partnerships.
  • Excellent analytical and program management skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Lean process experience a plus, with a firm understanding of lean principles of process delivery.
  • Track record of demonstrating intellectual curiosity and driving operational improvements through an organization.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly invoicing oversight across multiple teams, proactively partnering with JREDD Business Leads and Operations Directors to drive earlier billing and improve cash flow, revenue timing, and accountability.
  • Monitor due dates and revenue alignment, ensuring operational execution remains consistent with financial targets.
  • Maintain and continuously enhance shared invoicing, tracking, and reporting tools to support financial transparency and data-driven decision-making.
  • Support standardization of finance management practices across JREDD, including development of proactive KPIs for early intervention and corrective action.
  • Enable centralized forecasting and reporting on JREDD financial performance, incorporating both leading and lagging indicators from the three reporting business units.
  • Produce and manage weekly platform metrics reporting covering revenue, production, and utilization for leadership review.
  • Review utilization trends and partner with discipline leads to address staffing imbalances and low-utilization concerns.
  • Support JREDD's performance monitoring, measurement, and management strategy to drive transparency into customer satisfaction and quality results.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational success and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Lead monthly resource management calls, expanding capacity and supporting flexible staffing strategies aligned to JREDD's evolving delivery model.
  • Support operational leadership through team coordination, recurring meeting facilitation, and recruiting support.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for resolving issues related to workload distribution, staffing, and project execution.
  • Evaluate current-state business operations processes, tools, and resources across JREDD to identify opportunities for best-practice standardization and creation of centralized support workflows.
  • Work with JREDD stakeholders to centralize and standardize operations with a goal of driving efficiency and continuous improvement across all functions.
  • Lead development and implementation of an effective change management strategy and program that aligns to various organizational change scenarios.
  • Establish and maintain a document control strategy that defines standardization of JREDD documentation, including process SOPs, reporting outputs, and client communications.
  • Act as a platform representative in the testing of new technologies and lead subsequent implementation of those solutions into daily operations across teams.
  • Act as a go-to resource for troubleshooting operational and system issues as they arise.
  • Manage organization of the JREDD quarterly all-hands call, including content management and submissions, and as well as event planning and execution.
  • Participate in weekly operations and discipline team calls, delivering updates including utilization, projected revenue, and organizational changes.
  • Develop and oversee an effective JREDD communications and engagement strategy, including stakeholder mapping and documentation of organizational context and needs.
  • Establish strong engagement and relationships with key JREDD leaders and relevant stakeholders across the broader JLL organization.
  • Support articulation of JREDD's value creation and value proposition across service lines and delivery practices.
  • Support and lead strategic JREDD initiatives as they arise.
