About The Position

Sage Haus is seeking a Business Operations Lead to serve as the systems backbone of the company. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Services, Marketing, and Product, focusing on maintaining and improving operational tools, data integrity, automations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Initially, the role is tactical, involving ownership of the operational stack, building automations, and optimizing existing systems. Over time, it will evolve to include more strategic responsibilities such as growth-strategy projects, data architecture, and operational developments that influence the company's future direction. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, a systems thinker, highly organized, and comfortable with ambiguity in a startup environment. Fluency with AI tooling is essential, and specific experience with tools like Notion, Make, Zapier, Breezy, Flodesk, Twilio, and Calendly is a plus.

  • Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively across functions with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in ops, RevOps, growth ops, or marketing ops at a startup or agency.
  • Fluency with AI tooling, using AI to move faster, think bigger, and create leverage.
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly.

  • Specific tooling experience with Notion, Make, Zapier, Breezy, Flodesk, Twilio, Calendly.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the core operational stack, including tools and platforms such as Notion, Breezy, Calendly, Flodesk, Make, Zapier, and Twilio.
  • Build and maintain automations to connect tools and reduce manual work.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new tools as the company scales, including CRM solutions.
  • Serve as the team's expert on AI tooling, leveraging AI (e.g., Claude) to create business leverage.
  • Ensure CRM data is clean, current, and usable.
  • Maintain accurate dashboards that provide real-time visibility into business health.
  • Extract data insights and build additional dashboards, views, and forms as needed.
  • Architect data systems that can scale with the company.
  • Document new workflows and restructure/update existing SOPs for accessibility.
  • Create repeatable playbooks to enable efficient team operations.
  • Build and manage trackers for key initiatives (e.g., hiring cohorts, framework rollouts, CRM rebuild).
  • Support marketing operations, including systems, measurement, and campaign infrastructure.
  • Partner across functions to drive operational excellence.
  • Engage in growth-strategy projects, data architecture, and operational research as the role evolves.
