About The Position

The Business Operations Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the daily functions and strategic initiatives of our operations team. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience in analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and assisting in the implementation of operational solutions. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, prepare reports, and contribute to projects that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. By engaging in real-world business challenges, the intern will develop a comprehensive understanding of operational workflows and decision-making processes. Ultimately, this role aims to equip the intern with practical skills and insights that are foundational for a career in business operations and management.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Previous internship or work experience in business operations, consulting, or a related area.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support daily operational and customer delivery requirements.
  • Assist with inventory tracking, cycle counts, and warehouse organization to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor order fulfillment processes and help resolve shipping or delivery discrepancies.
  • Maintain operational records, purchase orders, invoices, and logistics documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, warehouse, procurement, and customer service.
  • Support supply chain planning activities by tracking inventory levels and vendor timelines.
  • Analyze operational data and create reports to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Help streamline workflow procedures to reduce delays and improve operational performance.
  • Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments regarding shipment schedules and logistics updates.
  • Assist management with administrative tasks, scheduling, and day to day business operations support.
  • Utilize ERP, CRM, and Microsoft Office tools to manage operational and logistics data.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
