About The Position

The Business Management Instructor provides quality instruction that meets program and course objectives. The instructor maintains an organized, disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning and conveys the expectations of relevant workplace settings to students. This is an adjunct, hourly, non-exempt position. Adjunct faculty are scheduled as needed according to courses offered in each module, with no guarantee of hours; scheduled hours are generally under 25 per week.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in a business management setting.
• An associate’s degree in a related subject area is required for associate’s-level instructors.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related subject area is required for bachelor’s-level instructors.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Mastery of QuickBooks business accounting software or equivalent.
• Understanding of education environments, including the needs of adult learners.
• Ability to provide a positive and effective learning environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of professional career paths relevant to students’ programs.
• Motivation, dedication, and enthusiasm for teaching.
• Good organization and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Small business management experience.
• MBA.
