About The Position

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is seeking a Business Litigation Associate with 5+ years of experience to join its Houston team in a hybrid role. The position offers work on a sophisticated, varied litigation practice, with responsibility for a select portfolio of high-value matters rather than a high-volume caseload. The associate will handle large-scale disputes from strategy through resolution and work directly with an accomplished team, taking meaningful ownership of matters while receiving hands-on mentorship and collaboration from Partners.

Requirements

• Be an active member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• Have 5+ years of extensive experience in Texas state and federal business litigation.
• Demonstrate courtroom presence and a proven track record of handling trials as required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Houston and broader team on a sophisticated, varied litigation practice.
• Serve as a trusted litigator on a select portfolio of high-value matters rather than managing a high-volume caseload.
• Handle sophisticated, large-scale disputes from strategy through resolution.
• Take meaningful ownership of matters while collaborating with and receiving mentorship from Partners.
