This position will support the Asset Liability Management (ALM) business unit, focusing on balance sheet forecasting, interest rate risk measurement and forecasting, and reporting through business line and corporate level committees. The role involves supporting the business line to comply with internal risk programs, policies, and regulatory guidance. It also includes monitoring the program for proposed changes to translate through a risk-focused lens and assist in designing new control structures relevant to the changes. The Business-Line Risk Manager will serve as a trusted advisor in strategic initiatives to identify future risk profile changes and consult on approaches to absorb/measure/limit risk. Additionally, the role supports the business through internal reviews, audits, and exams, and assists in scoping and remediating any identified weaknesses or issues with regard to risk policies and program requirements. This position partners with their assigned Line of Business, other Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) professionals, and RCA Managers to create, implement, maintain, review, or oversee an effective risk management framework. It also participates in projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, identifies gaps and informs solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems, or human errors, and identifies, responds to, and/or escalates risks as appropriate. The role serves as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.
