About The Position

This position will support the Asset Liability Management (ALM) business unit, focusing on balance sheet forecasting, interest rate risk measurement and forecasting, and reporting through business line and corporate level committees. This role partners with their assigned Line of Business, other Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) professionals, and RCA Managers to create, implement, maintain, review or oversee an effective risk management framework. Participates in projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Identifies gaps and inform solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors. Identifies, responds and/or escalates risks as appropriate. Serves as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.

Requirements

  • Typically more than six years of applicable experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the business line to comply with internal risk programs, policies, and regulatory guidance.
  • Monitoring the program for proposed changes to translate through a risk-focused lens and assist in designing new control structures relevant to the changes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor in strategic initiatives to identify future risk profile changes and consult on approaches to absorb / measure/ limit risk.
  • Support the business through internal reviews, audits, and exams
  • Assist in scoping and remediating any identified weaknesses or issues with regard to risk policies and program requirements.
