About The Position

The Business Intelligence & Systems Analyst serves as a strategic partner to the business, transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support informed decision-making and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer as part of the Business Systems team, the analyst collaborates with leaders and cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, develop reporting and interactive dashboards—including Power BI Apps—support Azure data transformation, and deliver data-driven solutions that improve organizational efficiency, visibility, and performance. The role uses Power BI, SQL, Azure data services, Microsoft Excel, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other data analysis technologies to identify trends, uncover process improvement opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations. It also supports business process optimization by developing and maintaining standard operating procedures, documenting system functionality, supporting automation, and ensuring data integrity. Success requires technical expertise, analytical thinking, clear communication, attention to detail, curiosity, and a solutions-focused approach.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or business systems roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated Power BI experience, including data modeling, Power Query, DAX, publishing, workspace management, and building and managing Power BI Apps.
SQL experience, including joins, aggregations, data validation, and query troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Azure data services and data transformation into the Azure platform.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Clear written and verbal communication in English.
U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required.
Unencumbered U.S. driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred.
Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis, automation, or transformation.
Experience with Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.
Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, APIs, or related systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and manage Power BI dashboards, semantic models, reports, workspaces, apps, access, and refresh schedules.
Build, publish, manage, and secure Power BI Apps for organized and governed user access to reports and dashboards.
Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, views, and reusable datasets for operational and executive reporting.
Design and implement data transformation processes into the Azure platform to support reliable analytics and reporting.
Use Power Query, DAX, and data modeling techniques to prepare data and deliver accurate, scalable reporting.
Communicate with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and complete projects effectively.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual entry, disconnected spreadsheets, and repetitive work through automation and process improvement.
Design and support solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Azure, and related tools.
Review, create, and update standard operating procedure and system functionality documentation.
Lead or support discovery, requirements gathering, testing, training, deployment, and continuous improvement of reporting and systems solutions.
Partner with the Chief Information Officer, management, and business process owners to plan and execute reporting and systems needs that support organizational goals.
Identify trends, process improvement opportunities, and actionable recommendations that support organizational goals.
Support data integrity and business process optimization.
