About The Position

Chubb Benefits is seeking a Business Intelligence Intern for a 10-week Summer 2027 internship. The intern will gain career-building experience supporting the Finance department through reporting, data visualization, dashboard development, data maintenance, and analysis. The position is based in the Chicagoland area and follows a hybrid schedule, with four days in the office and one day remote. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT, from May 24 through August 6. Pay is $18 to $24 per hour; the specific offer may depend on the applicant’s skills and other factors, and the range may be adjusted for geographic differentials.

Requirements

• Technology skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, SQL, and PowerPoint.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and accountability.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Local to the Chicagoland area and able to meet the in-office expectation of four days per week.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with DAX and/or Power BI.
• December 2027 or May 2028 graduation preferred.
• Preferred majors: IT, Math, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and preparing reports to address the Finance department’s business needs.
• Create data visualizations and transform data into innovative dashboard designs.
• Maintain large datasets, including validating, cleansing, and troubleshooting data.
• Create and maintain automated online reports using Power BI.
• Update and maintain SQL databases to ensure data quality.
• Analyze and integrate data from multiple sources.
