About The Position

This role focuses on partnering with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain departments to understand their processes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The specialist will lead requirements sessions, translate business needs into analytical solutions, and build and maintain Power BI solutions including reports, dashboards, semantic models, and advanced DAX within Microsoft Fabric. The position also involves problem-solving, investigating data discrepancies, ensuring reporting accuracy, and driving automation and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a BI or analytics role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and DAX.
  • Experience with row-level security, column-level filtering, role-based access controls, and data masking/anonymization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) data architecture, ETL, and data engineering using Python/PySpark.
  • Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer or Power BI certification.
  • Familiarity with ERP data.
