About The Position

A fast-growing, venture-backed technology company in a highly regulated industry is adding an Analytics Engineer to its San Francisco team. Data sits at the heart of the business, and this person will join a small, influential team whose work reaches every part of the company. The role centers on designing and owning the data models and pipelines that power client reporting, while laying the foundation for future machine learning and AI products. Day to day, you will untangle complex production data, strengthen data quality and reliability, and help the platform scale as larger customers come on board. You will work side by side with engineering, product, and operations partners, turning their questions into trusted, well-documented datasets and dashboards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on analytics engineering or data modeling experience at a fast-growing, venture-backed, or modern technology company
• Advanced SQL skills, with experience modeling complex data in live production environments
• Hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or another quantitative field
• A track record of measurable impact, with the ability to clearly explain what you built and the results it delivered

Nice To Haves

• dbt experience is a strong plus
