Manager, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics
About The Position
Manages all activities related to data and analytics strategic initiatives, ensuring the effective development, implementation, and support of enterprise analytics data foundation and platform, business intelligence and visualization tools, and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities on enterprise technology and platforms. Accountable for the effective deployment of new data products, business and analytical tools, data analysis, insights and recommendations for business decisions. Oversees the development and maintenance of enterprise analytical platforms, data products and services, including specifications, data governance, data standards, standard report libraries, and adherence to change control standards. Uses a strong understanding of data mining techniques and experience in data model development and data management best practices. Sets metrics for success by tracking operational support deliverables, project deliverables and stakeholder and customer survey feedback. Responsibilities include managing a team of data engineers, data architects, data analysts, and business intelligence analysts. Coaches and provides leadership and technical guidance to independent contributors under direct supervision and cross functionally across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Business Management, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Finance or related field
- 5 years recent relevant experience
- Strong expertise in data modeling and business intelligence tools.
- In-depth understanding of database architecture to effectively analyze and interpret complex data.
- Highly adept in the use of various data analytics software and programming languages like SQL, R, Python, and other commonly used programming language and tools for data and analytics.
- Familiarity with healthcare trends, competitive intelligence, and data analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, complex environments.
- Consistently produces quality data products.
- Ability to simplify complex data into simplified analytic solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability working with data visualization tools, business intelligence platforms and programming language for analytics and AI.
- Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with business partners and cross functionally across departments.
- Strong verbal and writing skills to communicate with diverse groups.
- Ability to confidently present to diverse business partners and provide clear information.
