About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst (BI Analysis) to join the Auburn Fabrication Division located in Auburn, Washington. This position will support Integrated AeroStructures & Advanced Meal Structures (IAS/AMS) in the Auburn Fabrication Division. The position will support the Fulfillment organization within IAS/AMS with Strategic Business Initiatives and will be responsible for designing Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives. This role will combine programming, SQL skills, best practices and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in a technical or quantitative discipline like Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology, Finance or Statistics. Equivalent relevant work experience in a technical or quantitative role acceptable in lieu of education. (9 Years of Experience)
3+ years querying, manipulating and analyzing data with SQL
3+ years working in a scripting language like Python or R. (Python Experience Preferred)
3+ years working with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. (Tableau Experience Preferred)
Strong understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) Processes, including combining data from multiple data sources, data cleaning and data validation

Nice To Haves

Experience with other Software Development and Data Management tools like Version Control Systems (GitHub, GitLab), CI/CD pipelines, MS Access, Data Warehouses/Data Lakes, and Cloud Computing Systems (AWS, Azure)
Knowledge of Software Development and Data Mining Project Methodologies like Agile, Scrum, CRISP-DM.
Ability to engage stakeholders from varying levels of business with various degrees of technical knowledge.
The ability to turn business requirements into technical solutions
Experience in data management and visualization
3+ years working in a manufacturing environment with experience in SAP or other MRP/ERP Software

Responsibilities

Contribute to ongoing modernization efforts including the move to the cloud, and migration of existing business intelligence solutions to new SAP data sources.
Design new business intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomes.
Own the end-to-end delivery process of business intelligence solutions including: Define customer requirements, Collaborate with stakeholders, Determine appropriate data sources, Data Mining and Analysis, Deliver on schedule solutions, Document process, procedures and technical content, Ensure compliance with Company Policies and Legal requirements, Manage project timelines and deliverables, Provides Training to customer base on business intelligence solutions.
