This role involves the installation, upgrade, and configuration of Tableau Server in clustered environments on both Linux and Windows platforms. The analyst will be responsible for installing supporting database drivers, managing load balancer transitions from F5 to Google Cloud Load Balancer, and renewing SSL certificates through HA Proxy. Key duties include the administration and maintenance of various Tableau Server versions (2021.x through 2025.x), managing users, sites, projects, and group assignments. The position requires analyzing Tableau server logs for events, performance, and user activity, managing user access and permissions, and troubleshooting runtime errors with root cause analysis. Additionally, the analyst will troubleshoot connectivity issues between Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and various data sources, provide support for teams in troubleshooting connectivity and performance tuning, and monitor VM resources (CPU, Memory, Disk space) using Solar Winds, New Relic, and Google Cloud Monitoring. Telecommuting and working from home are permitted from anywhere in the U.S. Travel and relocation to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. are possible, with approximately 10% domestic travel required.
