About The Position

DAC Beachcroft is seeking a technically skilled Finance BI Analyst to join its Finance team in Bristol. The role supports the development of the firm's reporting capabilities and data-driven decision-making by transforming data into meaningful insight and working with stakeholders to improve reporting processes.

Reporting to the Finance Systems & BI Manager, the analyst will develop, maintain and enhance financial reporting solutions across the firm. As a key contact for reporting requirements, the role works with Finance, IT and business stakeholders to deliver efficient, accurate and insightful reporting for operational and commercial decision-making. The analyst will also contribute to reporting improvements, process optimisation and management information used by internal teams and external clients.

Requirements

• Previous SQL experience.
• Commercial experience developing analytical reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
• Customer-focused approach and commitment to high-quality outcomes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach and ability to work independently.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Finance or financial systems knowledge.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Power BI.
• Process mapping and documentation experience using Visio.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for Finance reporting requirements.
• Develop, maintain and enhance internal and external financial reports.
• Produce high-quality analytical reporting to support business and finance stakeholders.
• Work with IT colleagues to support the standardisation, development and implementation of reporting solutions.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand, develop and maintain reporting requirements.
• Map and document business processes using Visio, and maintain process documentation following system or procedural changes.
