About The Position

Tuknik Government Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a remote Business Intelligence Analyst to support TGS and its government customer. The role involves using data expertise to uncover insights, support data-informed decision-making, and contribute to company growth. The candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust. The analyst will collect, process, and analyze data; develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards; identify actionable trends and patterns; and communicate findings through visualizations and presentations. The role also works with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into data requirements and define KPIs and metrics.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a BI Analyst or similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
Understanding of AI and ways to implement it.

Responsibilities

Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
Develop and maintain complex data models, reports, and dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data to uncover actionable insights.
Create visualizations that communicate findings to stakeholders.
Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and metrics.
Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
