About The Position

The Business Intelligence Analyst at THE BANK OF COMMERCE is responsible for transforming data into insights that drive business decisions. The role involves analyzing complex data sets, developing reporting solutions, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize business performance and support the bank's growth objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis roles.
• Proven track record of working with large datasets and performing complex data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for querying databases and extracting relevant data.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key performance indicators and trends.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing and maintaining data quality standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in business intelligence tools and techniques to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
• Provide training and support to end-users on business intelligence tools and data interpretation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
