About The Position

Continental Properties is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its Data Management team at the home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The analyst will help turn trusted data into business decisions through Power BI dashboards, governed self-service datasets, and data products designed to work with AI tools. The role partners with teams across the company to uncover insights, make data easier to find and understand, and support accurate, consistent reporting. The position reports to the Business Intelligence Analyst Manager. The analyst will develop and maintain reporting solutions, enable self-service data use, analyze business performance, and collaborate with stakeholders. The role also supports data quality, governance, and AI readiness by validating information and documenting shared business definitions and metrics. It includes proactively improving reporting and staying current with Power BI, analytics, and AI developments.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or another analytical role.
Strong experience developing reports and dashboards, with an eye for creative and effective data visualization.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain data concepts to non-technical audiences.
Working knowledge of SQL.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and structured and unstructured data.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Business, Finance, or a similar quantitative field.
Experience using Power BI; it is strongly preferred.
Experience with Tableau, Looker, or Qlik.
Experience with or genuine interest in using AI tools, including Claude or Claude Code, to build data solutions.
Experience with Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse.

Responsibilities

Design, maintain, and troubleshoot Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets in line with best practices and business needs.
Explore Power BI features and capabilities and incorporate useful developments into team standards.
Contribute to reusable, governed datasets and data products that enable business users to answer their own questions.
Promote awareness of available data and help teams find and correctly interpret it.
Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and business drivers, and provide actionable insights.
Partner with business users to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and deliver reporting solutions.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and promote awareness of reports across the organization.
Validate and monitor data sources for accuracy and consistency.
Help define and document business terms and metrics for consistent use across reports and AI tools.
Help validate that AI-generated answers match certified business definitions.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data storytelling, and adoption.
Stay informed about Power BI, analytics tooling, and AI developments and share relevant learning with the team.
