Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, business analysis, or a related role.
  • Experience building reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel within Pennsylvania.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Azure data services.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
  • Experience working in a membership-based organization.

Responsibilities

  • Turn data into clear, meaningful insights that help drive business decisions.
  • Create dashboards and reports that make it easy for leaders to understand performance.
  • Improve data quality, consistency, and documentation to build confidence in reporting.
  • Help employees access and use data through self-service tools, training, and support.
  • Promote a strong data-driven culture by making information more accessible across the organization.
  • Partner with business teams to understand reporting and analytics needs.
  • Define key metrics, KPIs, and reporting requirements.
  • Explore and validate data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential issues.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and data analysis to support business initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets.
  • Use DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling to create reliable reporting solutions.
  • Create clear, user-friendly visualizations that help teams make informed decisions.
  • Manage Power BI workspaces and publishing to ensure reports are organized and accessible.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries and database views.
  • Partner with the Business Intelligence Developer to support ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
  • Apply data warehouse best practices, including star and snowflake schema design.
  • Configure security, data refresh schedules, gateways, and reporting performance enhancements.
  • Create and maintain data dictionaries, business glossaries, and documentation.
  • Monitor dashboard usage and gather feedback to improve reporting solutions.
  • Support user training and encourage adoption of self-service analytics tools.
  • Follow data privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
