The Destination & Marketing Intelligence Manager supports Destination Cleveland’s Insights & Analytics function by expanding capacity for data-informed decision-making across the organization and facilitating progress measurement toward strategic plan KPIs. This role applies technical and analytical expertise to gather, organize, and interpret information that informs strategies and initiatives. Working with teams across the organization (Marketing, Sales & Services, Destination Management, and Operations), this role leads and contributes to a range of insights activities, including maintaining dashboards and reporting, preparing and structuring datasets for analysis, supporting research initiatives, and guiding the collection and synthesis of feedback from visitors, partners, and stakeholders. The Manager supports efforts such as surveys, focus groups, and on-the-ground interviews, while also coordinating with external vendors and partners to ensure research and data-related projects are executed effectively. This role works across data platforms (i.e. CRM systems, web analytics tools, and tourism data sources) to connect and organize information from multiple inputs to support meaningful analysis. Success in this position requires strong technical problem-solving skills, sound judgment in working with complex or evolving data sources, and the ability to independently move projects forward. The role also identifies opportunities to leverage emerging tools, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve reporting workflows, streamline analysis, and enhance insight generation. By ensuring information is well organized, accessible, and clearly communicated, this role helps translate data and feedback into insights that support Destination Cleveland’s strategies and initiatives.
