About The Position

The Business Intelligence Analyst II is a developing analytical professional who independently manages routine data requests and builds functional proofs of concept. The role translates raw data into meaningful operational reports to support day-to-day business decisions and serves as a developing contributor within a department or business unit. It bridges basic data extraction and advanced analytics by partnering with end-users to understand operational workflows, translating business requests into technical requirements, and building operational dashboards. With decreasing supervision, the analyst applies intermediate analytical skills to address common operational questions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.
Four years of recent relevant experience.
Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and operational reporting best practices.
Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or application reporting and dashboard tools.
Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills.
Intermediate SQL skills for independent data extraction and exploration.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical business partners.
Ability to work independently to solve common operational questions and manage routine analytical queues.
One of the following certifications, as determined by the hiring manager, within one year: Epic Cogito Certification, Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate, or Tableau Certified Data Analyst.
