About The Position

Franciscan Alliance Inc. seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst II for its facility at 1500 Albany St., Beech Grove, Indiana 46107. The role supports clinical and operational success across the organization by working with stakeholders, including those in the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), to interpret complex data and produce actionable insights through dashboards and reports. The position is 100% telecommuting, with travel required never or rarely.

The analyst provides business intelligence support to the ACO and HMO; supports existing Tableau reports, executive deliverables, statistical analysis system workflows, and data integration processes; and helps develop new reports and dashboards in Tableau and Power BI. The work also includes supporting data quality and regulatory compliance, enabling users through education and self-service tools, and communicating complex findings in ways that help stakeholders make decisions about patient care, safety, efficiency, and organizational strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Informatics, Health Informatics, or a related field.
• Three years of experience as an EMR Business Intelligence Developer, Analytics Program Analyst, or in an occupation involving SQL in an Oracle SQL Server environment.
• Employment experience with business intelligence tools, including Tableau’s architecture, functions, features, and capabilities.
• Employment experience with regulations and legislation concerning hospital-mandated reporting on quality and regulatory metrics.
• Employment experience applying healthcare analytics, including predictive and prescriptive analytics, statistical analysis, and data validation.
• Employment experience using data analysis to improve user experience, productivity, and decision-making ability.
• Employment experience translating complex data findings into relatable written or verbal communications for lay persons.

Responsibilities

• Partner with ACO and HMO stakeholders to understand goals, analyze complex data, and create actionable dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
• Translate raw data into useful information to support decisions that improve patient care, safety, and efficiency.
• Ensure data quality while supporting regulatory compliance.
• Educate users and provide self-service tools to reduce reliance on technical teams.
• Collaborate across business and technical areas and support stakeholders across departments.
• Support organizational strategy and help advance it.
• Provide business intelligence support to the ACO and HMO.
• Provide daily support for existing Tableau reports, including executive deliverables, statistical analysis system workflows, and data integration processes.
• Assist with projects and develop new reports and dashboards in Tableau and Power BI for the healthcare system.
