About The Position

Huntington’s internship programs provide emerging talent with meaningful, hands‑on experience aligned to their area of study. Over the course of the interns’ time at Huntington, they gain exposure to key business functions across all segments of the organization. An intern’s experience should be focused on professional growth, skill development, and practical application of academic learning. Interns participate in a structured series of development opportunities, including interactions with senior leadership and career pathing insights. The experience also includes immersion in Huntington’s award‑winning culture through community involvement and team‑based activities. Internships at Huntington are designed to help students build a strong foundation for future career success while contributing to meaningful business initiatives. Within the Business Innovation & AI Products, interns gain exposure to leading and innovating banking AI solutions and products. Students partner directly with professionals to contribute to meaningful projects and initiatives while developing knowledge of how generative AI is being leveraged in banking, some of the AI products that banks are investing in and processes and practices to get AI products stood up in a large enterprise. Opportunities may include exposure to consumer, business, and wealth management AI products. Successful candidates are curious, collaborative, and interested in learning more about careers in AI banking products, technologies, and experiences.

Requirements

High School graduate
Enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate accredited University with at least one quarter/semester of school after the completion of the summer program.
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities and/or work experience
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice® applications
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
